THE VENICE CARNIVAL
THE VENICE CARNIVAL
In this opportunity I am going to talk about one of the well-known festivals in the world, which I love for its costumes, colors and dances, it is the Venice Carnival.
So let's go!!
The Venice Carnival is an annual festival held in Venice, Italy. Carnival ends with Lent, forty days before Easter, on the day of carnival, one day before Ash Wednesday. The festival is known for its typical masks.
During the Carnival many events and parties are also organized, some of them private and it is difficult to attend without knowing someone. Party prices are also often high.
WHAT COSTUMES DO THEY WEAR?
The costumes are period costumes from the 17th century Venetian, as if they were straight out of a movie.
The vast majority of tourists do not dress up or limit themselves to wearing a mask or mask bought in the thousands of shops and street stalls that abound in Venice.
The goal of most visitors is to see Venice during Carnival and take photos in the best costumes.
WHY DO I LIKE THIS EVENT?
I really like this event because it reminds me of my city, which has a very similar carnival. I really love those masks from Venice Carnival, their costumes are so elegant and prepared, it's like being in a theater presentation, like a movie, I like that people can be themselves those 10 days that this carnival lasts, They are days full of dance, tradition that everyone loves, that even people from other countries will enjoy this great event.
