Hi! In this lesson you we can learnd how to express a intention or plan that we had in the past, but we changed.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
It is a way that is used to tell a plan or forecast for the future that you had in the past and you did not do because you changed your mind.
GRAMMAR :
- Affirmative: Subject + was/were going to + verb in base form.
- Negative: Subject + was/were NOT going to + verb in base form.
- Interrogative: Was/were + subject + going to + verb in base form +
EXAMPLES
- She was going to the supermarket, but she did not have enough money
- We weren't going to the entraing, but our coach told us we had to do it
- were they going to cook the lunch
